Tips for Healthy Looking Skin and Hair

Here are a few tips about maintaining your hair and skin for so you can look your best on your wedding day.

For Healthy Hair:
Every bride’s first thought when she becomes engaged is to let her hair grow, and grow and grow…  It’s not always necessary to grow your hair down to your waist to achieve your desired look for your wedding day.  Book your first session with your wedding stylist NOW. The sooner you get in with your wedding day stylist the more informed you’ll be as to just how long you hair needs to be to achieve your wedding day look.
Keeping your hair healthy means you have to keep it trimmed. Keeping the split ends at bay is an important part of healthy looking hair. Keeping it trimmed every 6-8 weeks will keep the hair from fraying. Don’t let you hair fall out of style on the road to your wedding day.

For Radiant Skin:
One of the questions that I always get from my brides is should I get a facial before my wedding?  My answer to that is if you are on a regular facial regimen now, Stick with it! It’s easy during the wedding planning process to stray away from our regular overall grooming, health and fitness routines.
If you are planning on getting a facial for the first time, please make sure it is not the week of your wedding. Facials often give the opportunity for the icky things beneath the skin to surface. We Certainly don’t want that happening on the day of your wedding. I find that my brides that enroll in a 6 month series of facials always have the most radiant skin, thus giving me a cleaner/smoother canvas to work with. HYDRATE.

Another spa service that I suggest a bride should include is to enroll in a 6 month back facial service. A back facial will ensure that your shoulders look their most radiant. If you are wearing a off the shoulder dress do keep in mind that your back is facing your guests for the first part of the ceremony then your back becomes the most caressed and photographed while on the dance floor. HYDRATE. Tip: Assign a Bridesmaid to help you moisturize. The back and shoulders are one of the areas often forgotten.
